Flexibility is the key. Both at home and in the workplace, becoming increasingly flexible is a challenge that we all face. Schedules are tighter, work and family require more time, and sometimes it seems that there simply aren’t enough hours in the day (for me, I think about 30 would be enough—maybe).
This isn’t a random observation, but rather the result of some important changes to our Poinsettia Festival schedule. Please note that the Sumter County Christmas Tree Lighting has been changed to November 30, 2012 at 4:30 p.m., with “A Walk with St. Nick” following—and enjoy Breakfast with Santa the following morning, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Also, the Holiday House Tour hours have been changed, with the home and garden tours now being held from 12 to 6 p.m. The contact number is different as well; for info, the Council of Garden Clubs asks that you please call (803) 905-4375.
These changes have been made in our downloadable brochure, as well. If you haven’t had the chance to print one (or more) yet, now you can get the very latest info.
The Swan Lake Visitors Center will be closed for the holiday on Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, 2012. We’ll be back, bright and early, at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 26.
Right now, I am very thankful for desktop publishing…and along with the rest of the Tourism staff, I wish you and yours a wonderful, happy Thanksgiving! See you next week!
