Last week, we brought you a preview of Sumter’s many community holiday celebrations. Well, now the full scoop is here. As one of our managers said recently, “I knew we had a lot going on, but I had no idea it was that much!”
To see what’s happening December 1 through 14, 2012, the 10th annual Poinsettia Festival brochure is online here. For quick reference, it’s a printable PDF—so please download and make as many copies as you’d like for yourself, family, friends and visitors (and by the way, for best results, use legal-sized paper and set your printer to “fit to page”—the brochure folds twice to a convenient size with white borders).
Of course, one brochure only has room for the really big events. An incredible number of smaller celebrations continue throughout the Christmas season at many of Sumter’s churches, locally-owned businesses, clubs and organizations. You can also check our online calendar here—or get the latest info automatically in your e-mail inbox. If you still haven’t done it yet, this is a great time to subscribe the City of Sumter’s weekly newsletter. Go here to sign up—one click, and you’re done!
For more info, please call the Swan Lake Visitors Center at (803) 436-2640 or toll-free at 1-800-688-4748. And get ready to bring in the holiday season, Sumter style!
