We’ve Got Your Game!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

All right, it’s not quite Christmas yet, but has our weather been glorious lately, or what?  According to the present long-term forecast, we are in for several weeks of sunshine (mostly), with temperatures in the mid-seventies to low eighties.  Add the low humidity of the fall season, and you’ve got the recipe for perfect tennis weather!

Palmetto Tennis Center is one of South Carolina’s largest public tennis facilities, and offers some of the finest amenities that you’ll find outside a private club.  With on-site pros, a fully-equipped pro shop, ball machines, shower and locker facilities, and 24 newly-resurfaced Deco-Turf courts, lighted for nighttime play…well, it’s hard to beat!  And for value, there’s no topping it—regular daily play is FREE.

If you’re new to the game, PTC also offers clinics and private lessons for ages three and up.  And with Cardio Tennis, 10 and Under Tennis, and the Performance Training Center, there’s something for everyone of any age or skill level.

For those who would rather watch than play, there’s also ample opportunity for action.  The Palmetto Tennis Center hosts numerous tournaments throughout the year, and the next one is coming up soon—the SC Independent School Association’s Girls’ State Championships will be held October 20 and 21.  Following will be the 2012 Palmetto Fall Championships (SC Level 4), October 26-28.  Hosted by Hamptons, this USTA-sanctioned tournament is bound to be one of the most exciting of the year!  Admission to tournaments is FREE for spectators.

Need more info?  Call the Palmetto Tennis Center at (803) 774-3969, or check it out online here.  To make keeping up with the courts even easier, the Palmetto Tennis Center is also on Facebook.

This time of year, it’s hard not to want to be outside.  So grab a racquet and your trainers, and let our seasoned pros show you how to get your game on!
